MICHAEL O. FAWAZ graduated from Michigan State University College of Law, magna cum laude, in May 2005. He has been licensed to practice law in the State of Michigan since November 2005 and is admitted to practice in the Eastern and Western Districts of Michigan and the federal Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Michigan in 2002.

He is also admitted in the State of Illinois since November 2006.

Michael is a member of Vandeveer Garzia's Appellate Department. In law school he was a member of the Moot Court Team having served as captain during his third year, leading his team to a first place finish. He served as an Editor of the law school's Journal of Medicine and Law.

Michael clerked for Michigan Court of Appeals Judge William Schuette while attending his last year of law school. He also worked for the Michigan Tax Tribunal.
