SHELLEY K. MILLER specializes in
defense litigation, principally involving asbestos, toxic and
environmental personal injury cases, products liability, automobile and
premises cases. She represents a number of clients in cases pending in
various circuit courts throughout the State of Michigan, including the
Upper Peninsula, all Michigan Federal Courts, and Multi District
Litigation in Pennsylvania.
After receiving her B.A. degree in American
History at Michigan State University, Shelley went on to earn her law
degree from Detroit College of Law. Shelley was admitted to the State
Bar of Michigan in 1982. For two years she clerked for the Honorable
Steven N. Andrews of the Oakland County Circuit Court.
She is a member of the State Bar’s
Negligence Section, Oakland County Bar Association, Association of
Defense Trial Counsel, Michigan Defense Trial Counsel and has served as
the Program Chairperson for the Women’s Bar Association.
Shelley serves as a Circuit Court mediator in
Oakland County, and has served as a defense arbitrator. Shelley is a
shareholder with Vandeveer Garzia.
