DANIELA T. KARMO is an Associate Attorney with Vandeveer Garzia. She represents insurers, corporations, and individuals in a broad spectrum of general liability defense matters, including first and third party motor vehicle litigation, premises liability, and all areas of personal injury. Ms. Karmo handles litigation from the discovery phase through trial, assists with trial preparation, and drafts and argues motions.
In 2009, Ms. Karmo graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management. Ms. Karmo went on to obtain her Juris Doctor degree from University of Detroit Mercy School of Law in 2013. During law school Ms. Karmo participated in the school’s Mediation Clinic, was on the Executive Board of the Student Bar Association, was the recipient of a Fellowship award and a Book Award for achieving the highest grade in Conflict of Laws. In addition, Ms. Karmo interned at Wayne County Corporation Counsel and Michigan Legal Services where she was exposed to the court system and interacted with clients on a daily basis.
Ms. Karmo is admitted to practice law in the State of Michigan. She is also an ABA-certified mediator in the State of Michigan.
